Third Assist's Take: The ice and rink set up being one of the best in the state may sound like a bold claim, but after seeing photos and videos from the resort's website we can safely say the Sand County Classic holds up to it. Fun Fact: The founder of Third Assist daylights as a wildlife biologist. Sand County was immediately familiar due to the "Sand County Almanac". This is one of the most famous wildlife books of the last century and it was was written just south of this location in Wisconsin. One more reason to check out the area if you're a wildlife enthusiast.
